Believe it or not, this all started with a Karen. If you’re not sure what a Karen is, well, bless your heart. That’s probably because you are a good social media user and don’t find yourself scrolling facebook vids at eleven pm where content that sucks the life out of you exists. I was watching a train-wreck that was a Karen and a bunch of cameras and… I felt weird for her. Not exactly sorry, but… weird.
Like, maybe… just maybe there was more to her story?
This is a podcast that lives in that space. The whole, “There might be more to the story” space because I really do believe it’s a good there.
When Covid hit and my brain melted down, I kept thinking… “There’s got to be a way to help us feel better.” And what I realized was that my thing is telling stories. And that everyone has a story to tell. No exceptions. All of us.
So. I decided to start a podcast about All of us. Black, brown, white, all religions or none, or maybe, gay, straight, conservative, liberal, angry, happy, sad, single, married, divorced, young, old, dog lover, *cat hater, in between, ALL of us. And yes, I know there are more categories. We all know our world is endless. That’s the blessing.
So – I extend an invitation. To the huddled masses, so to speak. Would you like to be a part of the Neighborgood? Our focus currently is stories about 2020. There are so many different perspectives and experiences and we all know that… well, 2020 was a lot. We want to hear from you.
